LINCOLN, Placer County — November 3, 2026. The first results of Lincoln’s two City Council district elections show Holly Andreatta ahead in District 1 and Spencer D. Short ahead in District 2. The vote counts published Tuesday night are preliminary, not certified.
District 1: Andreatta versus Treshchuk
In District 1, Holly Andreatta received 897 votes (55.1%), compared with 720 (44.23%) for Christine Colvin Treshchuk. A small number of write-in votes were also recorded. The reported difference between the two named candidates was 177 votes.
District 2: Short versus Brown
In District 2, Spencer D. Short had 533 votes (54.17%) and Ben Brown 435 (44.21%), with an additional write-in vote recorded in the first report. The reported gap was 98 votes. These totals are separate districts and should never be combined into one citywide mayoral vote.
Local ballot issues
Lincoln residents also considered Measure F, described by the city as a public-safety and taxpayer-protection measure. An initial county news roundup listed yes ahead, with 7,648 yes votes and 5,621 no votes. Voters should verify both the latest total and the measure’s legal passage threshold before treating an early percentage as approval.
The City of Lincoln confirms that Council Districts 1 and 2 were on the November ballot. Officials will process additional valid ballots during the canvass.
