LINCOLN, Placer County — The City of Lincoln says work on Beermann Plaza is scheduled to begin November 1, 2026, and finish around December 1. Improvements include a dedicated truck-loading area, a new trash enclosure and aesthetic upgrades to the downtown plaza.

The city expects the alley between Lincoln Boulevard and F Street to close temporarily to deliveries for roughly two weeks. Tenant parking access is expected to remain available, and dumpsters will be moved temporarily to the parking lot at 570 Fifth Street. Construction conditions may change, so businesses should confirm access directly with the city.

What downtown visitors and businesses should know

Businesses relying on deliveries should contact their carriers and ask city staff about the latest access arrangements. The city’s notice identifies Jacob Groeser as project manager at 530-709-5895. This is a scheduled construction project, not a claim that the work has already been completed.
