LINCOLN, Placer County — The City of Lincoln has identified an aging-water-infrastructure replacement project on sections of K, O, P and Fifth streets. City documents describe replacement of deteriorated water mains, service lines and fire hydrants as part of Capital Improvement Project 713.

The project limits include K Street between First and Fifth streets; O Street between Third and Fifth; P Street from Fourth Street to near the Lincoln Meadows Care Center; and Fifth Street between J and O streets. The city said survey and utility-locating activities would inform the project design.

When is construction expected?

The city’s April 2026 notice placed the project in design, with construction anticipated in spring 2027. Residents should not interpret surveying or utility marking as evidence that pipe replacement has begun. Watch for future notices about traffic control, water interruptions and project scheduling.
