LINCOLN, Placer County — Lincoln’s Aldo Pineschi Jr. Park redevelopment in the Lincoln Crossing neighborhood is planned to create a broader range of recreation opportunities beside Scott M. Leaman Elementary School. The site was formerly known as Henry Rood/Brentford Circle Park.
The city’s published design for the approximately 5.4-acre park includes a basketball and futsal court, multi-use field, sand volleyball, ping pong, cornhole, play structures for different age groups, a restroom building and additional pedestrian entrances. Picnic and shade facilities also appear in the proposed design.
Is the park fully open?
The city project page says the site would remain closed during construction through late 2026, with some amenities potentially opening in the fall on a case-by-case basis. Check the current city project page before visiting, and do not enter fenced or unfinished areas.
